LivePerson Adds Top Executive to Lead North American Sales Under Dustin Dean

NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LivePerson, Inc. (NASDAQ:LPSN), a leading provider of digital engagement solutions, announced that Michael Montour has joined LivePerson as senior vice president of North American sales, under the leadership of Dustin Dean, executive vice president of Global Sales and Customer Success. He rejoins the company after more than two years as senior vice president of sales at Needle, a provider of advocate-assisted commerce.

Montour joins LivePerson with over 17 years of sales experience in the enterprise technology space, with proven success in cultivating enterprise relationships and building highly productive sales teams. "Mike brings solid experience in driving big deals, and developing strong sales teams," said Dean. "While we work in technology, we are still a relationship-driven business. Mike's focus on delivering value and trust to our customers make him a very valuable asset, not only for LivePerson but our customers as well."

After joining LivePerson in 2005 as a senior account executive, Montour took on increasing responsibility, first as regional sales director for the Western U.S. and then as vice president, North America.  During his eight-year tenure, Montour signed many major enterprise brands, such as Adobe, Disney, Microsoft and a leading national bank, among others, and was a key contributor to the Company cementing its leading market position. Montour joined Needle in 2013, pursuing an opportunity to run a national sales organization.
