Through the LivePerson application, Kansas residents can connect with a librarian in real-time for research assistance, while non-residents may also ask the librarians questions related to the State of Kansas.

The Kansas Library Network Board designed this project to furnish reference services to visitors who seek information only or primarily on the Internet. The program, which shares resources among libraries throughout the state, will feature more than 90 librarians to answer research questions and direct people to helpful online and offline resources. Each online librarian will be able to handle multiple chats.
